Something you should know ahead of the review — I don’t normally wear shapewear. As someone who is petite, I never thought I had to wear a garment underneath dresses or to “slim down.” But, with Honeylove, I learned that shapewear isn’t fit for just one body type.
After all, who doesn’t appreciate a good, seamless fit?
If you’re on the hunt to shop from a new apparel brand that’s comfy, cozy and cute, Honeylove is worth a go.
The EverReady Pant, $129
Victoria Giardina wearing the EveryReady Pant in ‘Charcoal’ and the LiftWear Cami in ‘Cinnamon.’ When I took the EverReady Pant out of its reusable zip packaging (which is used on all Honeylove pieces), I was immediately impressed with the quality and softness. They have a tailored cut, interior compression panels and a flattering fit — without being too restricting.
Simply put, they are the work or lounge pants meant for just throwing on and feeling unbothered for the rest of the day.
The pants in Charcoal are, in my opinion, the perfect hue — as an in-between gray and black option, they pair well with nude, brown and black shoes alike. Plus, the fabric contours with your body, so no more rigid jean-line feel on the back of your leg.
And, the selling point — I had absolutely no problem sitting at my desk for my 9-to-5, whereas with some other work pants, I am practically counting down the hours to when I can switch to comfy pajamas.
If you’re going to buy anything from Honeylove, start with the EverReady Pant — you’ll be hooked.

LiftWear Cami, $84
Truth be told, I was a bit skeptical of shapewear camis before they arrived in the mail. I prefer tops that don’t look like a corset from Bridgerton (apologies to anyone who raves about the show). Instead, I want a shapewear top that is slimming, seamless and blends in, like ones from Target or T.J.Maxx.
But, as soon as I tried on the LiftWear Cami, I was surprisingly happy with how it fit and felt. The support, without a bra no less, is unbelievable, and you won’t have to see any mismatching straps underneath your top. This doesn’t hold true for all tops with “built-in padding,” so this tank was a complete win.
Honeylove’s well-supportive cami also pairs nicely with the EverReady Pant and a cute blazer for going back to the office. As someone who dresses more modestly, I found the rounded-V cut of the tank is both conservative and refreshing.
The camis are also wonderful to exercise in. I wore mine with a pair of workout shorts — no sports bra, too — for my obé Fitness at-home workout and it gave me unbeatable support for pilates.
Though a splurge for a tank top, it’s well worth the cost. Aside from white and cinnamon colors, Honeylove offers a beautiful sky blue, stunning rose tan, fall-ready burgundy, classic black and match-all tan, too.

The Cons
This wouldn’t be an honest review without some cons and, though the cons are slim (like the shapewear, ha!), here are a few slingbacks we noticed:
The Boldness Tank is too constricting: Personally, I don’t need a lot of compression or lift. If that’s your thing, you’ll probably enjoy the Boldness Tank. But as someone looking for a top that I can wear to work every day, this wasn’t it.
The price: This may not be a true con depending on your budget and how much you’re willing to spend on quality basics and shapewear, but Honeylove is up there, compared to other competing brands. However, you get what you pay for, and it’s quality.
The bottom line
As one of the most impressive brands we’ve reviewed, Honeylove gets the green light. It’s a brand that not many people know about, but one I began recommending to my friends and back-to-workers who are in need of some basics and new, universal styles.
We enjoyed Honeylove and hope you’ll find it as sweet as honey, too.
